The Geo boss in short

The Ancient Earth Dragon is found in Lioyue and players get their first encounter while doing the Archon Quest. Zhlongi (aka Morax) made a contract with Azhdaha and promised that he will emerge from his deep sleep and see the overworld. This did not turn out well though, because Azhdaha's slightest steps caused earthquakes for humans in Liyue. Over millenials the story goes that Azhdaha started attacking humans and this in turn compelled Zhlongi to seal him back underground.

Battle Features

• Opens with Geo attacks before transitioning into two random elemental phases
• Environment changes dynamically based on Azhdaha’s current element
• Area hazards like explosions, shockwaves, and freezing zones appear mid-fight
• Uses massive tail sweeps, ground smashes, and elemental bursts
• Enters a furious state with boosted damage below 25% HP

Combat Tips if attempting in solo

• Use characters with strong shields (Zhongli, Diona) and healing (Bennett, Kokomi)
