In Teyvat's regions, genshin impact travellers often encounter large shrines sealed with a magical barrier. These are scattered around the world, with some of them hidden or in hard-to-reach places. When interacting with these shrines, you are asked for special keys called Shrine of Depth keys. These keys are obtained by completing archone quests and other world quests. Sometimes when one completes the domain to ascend the world level you can get these keys as well. Each key type is unique for each region and it corresponds to the correct Shrine. These are colour coded according to the region and element, so cyan for Monstadt, yellow for Liyue, purple for Inazuma, green forsumeru, Blue for Fontaine and red for Natlan.
Complete Archon quests and world quests to get the keys.
Seek out the shrines during your exploration and mark them out on the map (to return to them later) if you do not have any keys.
You also get keys from ascending your world level.
